Beehive Floor

Beehive floor after the style of the “Wormit” hive produced in Scotland in the last century. The “Wormit” was designed specifically for safe and  easy transport by lorry to the heather moors.  The hive parts interlocked and the front half of the ventilated floor was hinged so that the entrance could be closed in one easy movement and secured with a butterfly nut.

The hives have been out of production for several years but many of the original hives are still in use today.

This floor is compatible with the original brood boxes, supers etc.
